3-D Greetings: Christmas Tree & Dreidel

A few simple snips and folds send these cards hurtling into the third dimension. With easy downloadable templates for the Christmas Tree Card and Dreidel Card, creating multiple cards is a snap!
- Materials

- Two letter-sized sheets of card stock or heavy paper for each card
- Scissors
- Magic Markers
- stick-on rhinestones
- glue stick
- Instructions

For each card, you'll need two letter-sized sheets of card stock, or other heavy paper, in coordinating colors. Trim one sheet a half-inch all around, so it measures 8 by 10 1/2 inches. Fold the sheet in half, then mark the cut and fold lines as shown on the template or the diagram below. -
Cut and fold your paper as marked, bending the creases back and forth a couple of times so that the tree or dreidel will unfold easily when the card is opened.

Draw letters with marker on the dreidel or add ornaments (we used stick-on rhinestones) to the tree. -
Fold the second piece of paper in half to mark the center, then open it flat. Use a glue stick to secure the first piece to the second, being careful not to put glue on the sections that will be popping up. -
As you close the card, make sure the dreidel or tree pieces fold outward.
