Instructions
  1. Photo House Card - step 1 To make the photo, have everyone dress in pajamas, long underwear and slippers. Arrange holiday decor, such as wreaths and candles, in the background. Have a friend take photos with everyone waving or shouting a greeting.

  2. To make the card, cut and fold the card stock into a 5- by 7-inch card. Cut out the chimney and roof from the fade-proof paper. Test-fit your photo inside; make the door opening a little smaller than the photo. Seal the picture in place, then glue the card -- except for the door! -- closed.

  3. Cut out paper shapes for windows and other touches. Use a holly leaf rubber stamp to make the wreath and shrub. Finally, cut, fold and glue a cardboard triangle onto the back of the card so the house stands up.

Variations:
Alternatively, position your family members farther apart for the initial photo. Use tracing paper to mark head positions on the photograph and then transfer these onto card stock. Around them, draw a castle or skyscraper with windows that open to reveal each family member's face.
