Treats for the Tree

Edible ornaments from FamilyFun

by Barbara Albright
We hung one of these sweet wreaths on the door of my daughter Samantha's dollhouse. If you can't find a door from a toy dollhouse or barn, you can create one out of cardboard--or skip the door altogether and just hang the wreath directly on a branch of the tree.

MATERIALS

Shoestring licorice
Regular or Gummi green Life Savers

Use scissors to cut a piece of shoestring licorice 12 to 15 inches in length. Next, carefully string on about 15 Life Savers. Gather the ends of the licorice together and tie them into a bow to form a wreath.

TESTER'S TIP: For a more durable ornament, use a ribbon instead of shoestring licorice.
