Total Time Needed:
30 Minutes or less

Inexpensive plastic tubes let you put your candy on display.

Materials
  • 1 clear polycarbonate tube lamp guard, available in varying lengths and diameters (we used T-12) in the lighting section of most hardware stores
  • Craft knife
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Festive wrapping paper or fabric
  • Double-sided tape
  • Ribbon
  • 4- by 4-inch foil squares (available at craft stores) or pieces of aluminum foil

Instructions
  1. Using a craft knife, carefully cut the tube into 7-inch sections. Neaten the edges with scissors, if necessary.

  2. Then wash the sections inside and out and let them dry thoroughly.

  3. For each section, cut 2 pieces of wrapping paper or fabric that are 3 inches long and wrap around the circumference of the tube with about 1/4 inch of overlap.
    Stick one edge of the paper or fabric to the tube with double-sided tape. Tie it shut with a piece of ribbon.

  4. Wrap any of your ball-shaped candies in the foil squares, then fill the tube. Tape the other piece of paper or fabric around the open end of the tube and tie it shut with ribbon.
