Brown Bear

Total Time Needed:
1 Hour

Here's a friendly critter you can make from clay and wire.

Materials
  • Polymer clay in brown and black
  • 22-gauge, permanent-colored copper wire
  • Toothpicks

Instructions
  1. Brown Bear - Step 1 Roll and shape all the clay parts shown.

  2. step2 Cut the end off a toothpick and use it to fasten the head to the body.

  3. Press the arms, legs, and tail into place.

  4. Use small pieces of wire to attach the ears to the head, as shown at right.

  5. Press the small teardrop-shaped cheeks onto the face and add the black ball for a nose.

  6. Use a toothpick to create holes for the eyes and to shape the ears.
