Instructions

1. To make a ring: Thread buttons onto a short piece of elastic cord as shown. Knot the cord into a ring-size loop.

2. To make a bracelet: Fold an 18-inch length of elastic beading cord in half and tie off a ½-inch loop as shown. String buttons onto the cord by threading each end of the cord through a different button hole. If you like, add a few decorative shank buttons as you go. To finish the bracelet, tie on a shank button and trim away the excess cord. Secure the bracelet around your wrist by looping the cord over the shank button.
