Sort your child's cards by year.
-
To make the covers, cut two pieces of thin cardboard that are slightly larger than the biggest card. Glue decorative paper to both sides of the cardboard and let it dry.
-
Glue a picture of your child on the front cover and add his name and the year.
-
Punch two holes about 4 inches apart on the left side of the cards and covers, then thread them onto pieces of 6-inch-long ribbon, securely knot the ends, and trim any excess. -
Finally, tape an envelope to the inside back cover for storing small cards and gift tags (we stuck a Velcro dot on the envelope to hold the flap closed). If you want to add more cards, cut the ribbon and thread the stack onto longer lengths.
