- Instructions
-
-
Draw a faint design on the cardstock (pick a subject with elaborate lines, such as birds, butterflies or fish).
-
Use a pushpin or straight pin to poke holes in the paper along the lines.
-
Trim and hang your art in a window, and let the sun shine through the lacy designs.
-
- Tips:
- Start small, with a shape that's about the size of an ornament, but don't cut it out of your big sheet of paper. This makes it easier to grip the paper as you poke it.
