These two rooms feature shaggy terry cloth, "carpeting," dresser-top lamps, a peanut butter jar lid "game table" and a decorated soap box "chest" for storing mini flannel blankets and cotton sheets.
Dresser:
Set an individual-size cereal box on its side.

Glue on thin cardboard rectangles to resemble drawers. Paint the dresser, then insert trimmed Popsicle stick "legs" into holes cut in the dresser bottom and glue them in place. Glue on snipped straw "knobs." For a mirror, trim a plastic coffee can lid. Glue on aluminum foil for a mirror finish and insert the plastic tabs into holes cut in the dresser top.
Bed and Mattress:
Trim the top of a cardboard berry box so that two

facing sides resemble curved head- and footboards. Cut the other two sides straight, just above the airholes. Then cut straight down each corner to the box bottom. Fold down the sides that have been cut straight to serve as the bed frame. Add a sponge or foam "mattress", cotton "pillow" and fabric "bedspread."
Nightstand:
Cut off and discard the lower half of a small box. Trim

the cut edge to create legs. Draw a rectangle on the box front, then cut along the side and top lines only. Fold back the rectangle along its lower line to form a shelf inside the box. Cut a top for the stand from a foam tray and glue it in place.
