Kids' Art Necklace

Total Time Needed:
1 Hour

A shell pendant framing a diminutive drawing becomes a wearable work of art.

Materials
  • Small drawing (we used a color copier to shrink ours to size)
  • Paintbrush
  • Mod Podge
  • Shell pendant (available in the button section of large fabric stores)
  • Jewelry cord
X

Instructions
  1. Cut out the drawing, then brush the back with Mod Podge and press it onto the shell. Seal the pendant with a coat of Mod Podge. When it's dry, string the the pendant on a length of cord.

Tips:
If you're using an actual drawing instead of a photocopy, make sure you use color pens that won't run under Mod Podge.
