Sweeten the prospect of a long car ride with one of these decorative fresheners.

Materials

• Felt scraps
• Scissors
• Glue

• String
• Essential oil

Instructions

1. Start by cutting out felt shapes and gluing them together to create a flower, a butterfly or any other design they desire.

2. Make a small hole near the top and attach a loop of string.

3. When you're ready to roll, apply a few drops of lavender, tangerine, cinnamon or pine essential oil (sold at many natural food stores or large grocery stores) and hang the freshener in your car.
