There's no rule that says nursery decor can't be cool. So how about a pop art portrait of one of your child's favorite characters — herself!

Fun Fact: A pop art portrait of Marilyn Monroe recently sold for $28 million at auction, but it'll cost you less than $4 to make this fun piece of art.

Materials

Instructions
  1. Print four black-and-white copies of a photograph of your child's face on colored paper (ours are 5 by 7 inches). If the contrast isn't strong enough, follow your copier's or printer's directions to increase it.

  2. Cut out the images and glue them to pieces of contrasting colored paper as shown. Mount the photos on card stock or matte board with double-sided tape, then frame.
