Good King Thumbkin Puppet

Have royalty at your fingertips with this easy-to-make puppet.
- Materials

- Tongue depressor
- Felt
- Braid or lace
- Cotton ball
- Paper
- Yarn

Wrap a tongue depressor in felt, leaving 1 1/2 inches exposed at the top.

Wrap a piece of contrasting felt over that for a cape. For a truly royal look, glue on a trim of braid or lace.

Glue a bit of cotton ball to the front of the tongue depressor (for the beard) and the back (for the hair).

Cut out a paper crown and glue it on.

Draw on a face.
