Book Cover Collage

Total Time Needed:
1-2 Hours

Linda Salter of Fort Wainwright, Alaska, devised an artful way of preserving the dust jackets from her boys' cherished picture books: she turned them into a wall hanging for their playroom.

Materials
  • Con-tact Paper
  • Wooden dowel
  • Old book covers/sleeves
  • String
X

Instructions
  1. After laying out the book jacket design, she transferred it facedown onto a length of clear Con-Tact paper, leaving 4 inches at the top to wrap around a wooden dowel.

  2. She placed a second length of Con-Tact paper on top, then tied a length of string to the ends of the dowel for hanging.
