Clothespin Bag

If your family likes the fresh smell of laundry dried outdoors, this clothespin holder is sure to come in handy -- and it's a breeze to make.

Materials
  • Button-down shirt
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread
  • Hanger

Instructions
  1. Step 1 - Clothespin Bag Turn a child's outgrown button-down shirt inside out and trim a few inches from the bottom to create a bag that's the size you desire (we cut ours about 12 inches below the top button).

  2. Now sew the bottom closed 1/2 inch from the cut edge. If you're sewing by hand, double the thread and use short, even stitches. When you're done, simply turn the shirt right side out, fit it onto a hanger, and fill it with clothespins.
