Homegrown Pussy Willows

Here's a gift that Mom or Grandma will cotton to: an arrangement of pussy willows that will never go to seed, because they're made from cotton swabs.
- Materials

- Branches
- Brown marker
- Cotton swabs
- Tacky glue

Collect a few brown branches and pinch off any leaves.

To make the buds, use a brown marker to color the area just below the tips of some cotton swabs. We used 40 double-tipped swabs to make the bunch shown above. -
Cut off each tip at a diagonal and use tacky glue to attach it to the branch. Allow the glue to dry completely before presenting your gift.
