Transform a small metal hardware store bucket into a chic container to hold hairbrushes, gel, clips, ponytail holders and other stylist supplies. Your child can cut out her favorite hairstyles or favorite images from magazines and glue them to the bucket using a mixture of one part glue and one part warm water. When that dries, cover the entire bucket with acrylic gloss (available at craft stores and often used for decoupage). Another option, although it will look less shiny, is to glaze the bucket by painting it with a thick coat of glue mixture used to attach the pictures (it goes on white but dries clear).
