Homemade Sports Goal

For about $30 in materials (and an hour or so of time), you can build this versatile sports goal, just right for games of backyard soccer or driveway street hockey.
- Materials

- 2 (10-foot) lengths of 1 1/2-inch PVC plastic pipe
- 6 matching elbow connectors
- A street-hockey size replacement net -- we used a Mylec brand net, with sleeves that slide over the posts
- Hacksaw or other fine-tooth saw

Using a hacksaw or other fine-tooth saw, cut one pipe into two 51-inch lengths, leaving 18 inches of scrap.

Cut the other pipe into two 40-inch lengths and two 20-inch lengths. Then simply assemble the net as shown, sliding on the sleeves of the netting as you go.
