This clay eggshell is just the thing for storing coins, trinkets, or tiny keepsakes.
- Materials

- Balloon
- Self-drying clay
- Butter knife

Inflate a balloon until it's about 4 inches in diameter.

Mold a fist-sized ball of self-drying clay around three quarters of the balloon, leaving the top open.

Use a butter knife to give the clay a cracked edge.

Once the clay begins to set, pop and remove the balloon.

Allow the egg to harden completely before using it.
