DESCRIPTION AND HOW COSTUME IS MADE:

The ostrich body is made with a lightweight material stuffed with styrofoam to give it shape. Cut out a hole in the center for the child's body, and sew several black ostrich boas to the body. The neck is made from hollow plastic tubing covered in material, with a round, fiber-filled head on top. The feet are made out of felt and stuffed to cover the child's shoes. The jockey's costume is a green silk shirt with attached lime-green silk stripes. Lime-green polka dots have also been cut and glued to the formed cap.
