The words holiday leftovers conjure images of half-eaten casseroles and reheated turkey. But as parents, we all know there's another, more pressing pile of leftovers: the boxes, scraps of wrapping paper, plastic packaging, and cardboard tubes that sit in the garage, waiting for a trip to the recycling center. So here at FamilyFun, we challenged ourselves to come up with an easy yet inventive way to put those items to good use, and our customizable drum kit is the result. We've provided a few how-tos and tips to get you started, but there's no right or wrong way to make it -- simply use items you have on hand. That way, if your child pounds out an overly energetic solo, you'll have plenty of replacement parts!
