Paper Capers

Fourteen paper projects from FamilyFun

Paper Doll If you used to spend hours making paper dolls and outfitting them with elaborate clothing and accessories, now your kids can do the same.

First, draw a simple doll and cut it out. (Cover it with tape or clear Con-Tact paper to make it sturdier.)

Then, hold it against a sunny window and cover it with a sheet of paper. Draw its clothes to fit, on the paper, and don't forget to include tabs to hold them on.

Our favorite part is making accessories: hats, backpacks, shoes, you name it. A decent sort of dog (with several changes of collar) is a must. So is a carrying case--or all those bits of paper will end up on your rug.
