Alphabet blocks aren't just for stacking - they can also be used for showing off favorite pictures and artwork.

- Alphabet blocks
- Hammer
- Pushpin
- Glue
- Craft wire
- Pliers (if needed)

First, decide which blocks will serve as wire holders. In the top center of each, hammer a pushpin about 1/8 inch deep, then remove the pushpin.

Arrange the blocks faceup in a straight line or in any other pattern that creates a stable resting surface on the bottom. Glue them together, then prop books or other heavy objects at each end to hold them in place while the glue dries (about 3 hours).

Cut lengths of craft wire (ours range from 6 1/2 to 8 inches) and curl one end of each piece into a spiral (use pliers if needed). Add a dab of glue to the straight end and insert it into a hole. Let the glue dry completely before putting the project to use.
