Display your favorite stories with this clever holder made of rain gutters.

Materials
  • 10-foot piece of standard vinyl rain gutter
  • Hacksaw
  • Brackets
  • Hammer

Instructions
  1. Cut the 10-foot piece of standard vinyl rain gutter with a hacksaw, or you can have them cut it at the hardware store.

  2. Use brackets to install a 5-foot length in each kid´s room- high enough or low enough for the kids to reach the books or toys.

  3. Place books and toys on the shelves.

Tips:
The hanging brackets for vinyl rain gutters come in a number of styles in addition to what we show here. Those looking for a more ornate look might also consider affixing vinyl end caps, available from gutter suppliers, to the ends of the gutter.
