Recycled Costume

For a last-minute getup that's also clever and eco-conscious, gather odds and ends from Halloween costumes past. Once you've pulled together an appropriately silly look, draw a "Recycled" sign on the back of a paper plate, punch two holes in its rim, and tie on a string to hang around your neck. Then congratulate yourself: your costume is 100 percent repurposed -- and 100 percent ridiculous!
