Singing Spider

Total Time Needed:
1 Hour

Just a little bit o' clay and wire and this spider will be singing a happy tune!

Materials
  • Polymer clay in black and white
  • 22-gauge, permanent-colored copper wire
  • Toothpicks

Instructions
  1. Singing Spider - Step 1 Roll and shape a ball of black clay, then press it into a body shape, as shown.

  2. Press the white clay eyes onto the body, then add black balls on top.

  3. Use a toothpick to create a mouth, adding a little bit of white clay inside.

  4. Bend 8 pieces of wire onto legs, as shown, and insert 4 into each side of the spider's body.
