camping store (just follow the directions on the package) and juices or chocolate milk packaged in boxes or poured into cups with lids so the liquid doesn't float away. Our menu included lasagna, green beans, an omelet and an ice-cream sandwich.
Please read this before eating in your spacecraft.
ISS Dining Etiquette:
Use a clamp with your straw. In the space station, there is not enough gravity to pull liquid back down inside a straw after you're done sucking. If you don't clamp off the straw, the liquid will keep flowing.
Be sure to fasten the Velcro straps of your food tray to your thigh or a secure surface so that your tray doesn't float away. Magnets and more Velcro also hold the food packets and silverware onto the tray.
Eat directly out of the food packages (there are no plates in space).
If food falls off your spoon, simply use the spoon to bat the floating food into your mouth. (Don't try this on Earth.)
No burping. Since air bubbles in space usually stay in the middle of your stomach instead of the top, liquid will come up with the air if you burp. Yuck.
