Sparkling Votive Candle

Outside the weather may be wicked, but indoors will be warm and inviting under the light of this glowing candle.
- Materials

- Wire cutters
- Wire coat hanger
- Pliers
- White cloth-covered florist's wire
- Pencil
- Small glass jar
- Faceted beads
- Votive candle
- Instructions

Use wire cutters to snip off the bottom piece of the hanger at the corners. Use pliers to make a small hook at the end of each hanger arm (see A). Set this aside. -
Now wrap the end of an 18-inch piece of florist's wire around a pencil once and twist to form a loop (B). Remove the pencil. Repeat with a second 18-inch wire. -
Wrap one of the wires around the jar neck and twist it closed around the loop (C). Repeat with the other wire in the opposite direction (D). -
Add beads to the wire ends that stick out from the jar, gently curling the wire as you add beads. -
When you're done decorating the wires, attach the hooked hanger arms to the small loops on either side of the jar's neck. The hanger must be bent in to reach the loops. Add extra wire and decorations as desired. Then add the votive candle.
