Mix flour, salt and water together. Knead well, and add more water if the mixture cracks when squeezed into a small ball. (Makes enough for 25 ornaments.)
-
Make a 1-inch ball of dough, and smash it with a cookie stamp (available at craft and department stores). Use a straw to poke a hole for hanging. Poke holes in the tops and bottoms of the disks if you want to attach them to each other.
-
Preheat oven to 300 degrees and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Let ornaments dry for a few days, then paint.
-
- Tips:
- If you like, after they're painted, seal the ornaments with a shiny coat of Mod-Podge.
