Star Wand

These star wands might not have magic powers, but assembled into a big bouquet, they're sure to light up a room.
- Materials

- Pen and scissors
- Aluminum foil pie plate
- Heavy wire (like armature wire)
- Fingernail polish
- Glitter
- Permanent markers, optional

Draw star shapes on the bottom of a pie plate. Cut out each one, leaving an extra "tail" piece.

Cut a 12-inch piece of wire and bend a small loop in one end. Wrap the "tail" of the star around the wire loop and crimp securely.

Finally, decorate the stars with permanent markers, if desired (the plain metal also looks pretty). For a sparkly finish, paint the stars with fingernail polish, then sprinkle glitter onto the wet polish.
