Taking It Further - Baskets

You can use either of the two hoops to create two more projects, depending on what size you want. Make large baskets (above) on the hula hoop by weaving a base (ours are 8 inches in diameter) then pulling the weft tight to create sides, as described in step 4 of the basket instructions. Make chair pads on the embroidery hoop by weaving without tension in the weft. For any project on the embroidery hoop, use 1/2-inch-wide loops after reinforcing seams with glue.
