Barbecued Pork

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp. ketchup
  • 3 tbsp. molasses
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 2 whole pork tenderloins, about 1-1/2 pounds in all

Instructions
  1. Mix the ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, lemon, garlic and ginger in a shallow bowl. Add the garlic and turn it to be sure it is well coated. Preheat the broiler. Put the meat in a shallow roasting pan, spooning all the molasses mixture over it. Slide about 6 inches under the broiler and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning once, until it is browned on the outside and has an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
