five nationalities, from Norwegian to German, and have ancestors who immigrated here over the course of three centuries. They descend from Roman Catholics, Presbyterians, and Lutherans, from Republicans and Democrats, from longshoremen and bankers. So, from easy-to-do Millennium Family Portraits to the slightly more ambitious oral histories, here are six projects we hope your family will find as fun and fulfilling as we did.
