We've gone batty! I'm Lee Woodruff at the craft table with Family Fun. This easy to make bat mobile will guarantee a frightfully fun Halloween for you and your kids.
You'll need fiber fill, a coat hanger with a cardboard sleeve, some string, a hot glue gun, as well as a glue stick, scissors, some glow in the dark paint and a brush and the bat templates from familyfun.com. First, download the bat templates from our Web site. Next, carefully cut out your bats and the moon. Match the back and front of each bat and glue them together with a piece of string in between. Then glue together the moon house, you don't need string for this one. Now it's time to put it all together. Lay out the bats on the table with a coat hanger. Play around with the lengths of the bat strings so they are flying just the way you want. Finally, hot glue the fiber fill cloud to the hanger and the moon to the cloud. Here's a tip, paint each bats eyes and the entire moon with glow in the dark paint. Then, hang it up in a dark hallway or a bedroom and wait for the squeals to begin.
