No barbecue is complete without hotdogs and hamburgers. Well hi everybody, I'm Forbes Riley in the kitchen with Family Fun. Now these guys, well they may look like the real thing but the secret is no grilling necessary.
For the hotdog you'll need one circus peanut, one caramel square, yellow icing, a cut up green gum drop, baked cupcake, and white icing and nonpareils. For the hamburger you'll need two vanilla wafer cookies, one small chocolate covered cookie, yellow and red icing in tubes, green tinted coconut, slices of green gum drop, orange Juice or lemonade concentrate, some sesame seeds, one baked cupcake, white icing, and multicolored nonpareils. For the hot dog bun, cut a wedge in the circus peanut then roll the caramel into a hot dog shape. Place the hot dog in the bun and squirt on a squiggly line of yellow icing, then garnish with green gum drop relish. Frost the cupcake with white icing, sprinkle on nonpareils, and place your hot dog on top. To build the hamburger, start with an upside down vanilla wafer, add a dab of icing to attach the chocolate covered cookie, then add a squirt of yellow icing and a squirt of red icing, a sprinkle of tinted coconut, and two thin slices of green gum drops, if you like pickles. Brush the second vanilla wafer cookie with juice concentrate and sprinkle with sesame seeds, then place it on top of your hamburger. Frost the cupcake with white icing, sprinkle on the nonpareils, and place the burger on top. These tasty treats will be top picks at your next picnic.
