Hi, I'm Lee Woodruff with the Family Fun Minute. Kids will love jazzing up their bedroom doorways with a dangly curtain. Here are 3 decorations that can be easily crafted and hung from a tension rod.
For this dangling disk design, kids need only punch a hole in disks of decorative card stock and thread them onto knotted string. A washer at the bottom of the strings weighs them down keeping them from tangling. Use floral shaped craft foam for a pretty petal design. As with the discs, punch a hole in the middle of the flowers, then alternately thread craft foam flower shapes and colors straws onto string or thin ribbon. Now this one is really easy to put together. Simply glue plush pom-pon's onto strings of fabric or ribbon and tie the tops onto your tension rod. With these fun to make curtains, kids will always make a grand entrance. For detailed project instructions and more kids room ideas visit familyfun.com
