It looks like a fish, but it smells like pizza. I'm Lee Woodruff in the kitchen with family fun.
Today's catch of the day: Fish Shaped Pizza. So flour up the counter, fire up the oven, and have yourselves a feast. You'll need pre-made pizza dough, olive oil, tomato sauce, grated mozzarella cheese, slice pepperoni, and pitted black olives. Start with pizza dough from your favorite recipe or ready made from the supermarket. Oil a baking sheet and set it aside. Be sure to heat the oven to 450 degrees. For the fish, roll the dough into an oval about 12" long and 8" wide and place it on a baking sheet. About two inches from one end, pinch in the dough to create a tail. Spread 1/3 of the sauce on the fish, leaving a 1/2" border. Top with 1/3 of the cheese and add on olive eye. Now, vertically overlap pepperoni slices to make the scales. Bake the finished fish pizza for 15 minutes or until the underside of the crust is golden brown. You'll need a large spatula to transfer the finished fish from the baking sheet to a plate. This fish is as fun to make as it is to eat!
