Hi I'm Mike, and this is Lucy, and were in the kitchen today with Family Fun. We're going to make some homemade muffins today so p>
Let's get started.
Okay, we need 2 cups of all purpose flour, 2/3 cups of sugar, 2 and 2 teaspoons of baking powder, a generous 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg. Also need 1 large egg, 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of milk, 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. In the cinnamon sugar coating we will need 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter melted and also slightly cooled, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. p>
We will need to heat the oven to 375 and butter the muffin pan and set it aside. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl. Then want to make a little well in the center. Alright get that perfect egg cracked in, oh nice job. Alright right in, you got to whisk that all up, frothy, foamy. All mixed up. Blend in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Then pour into the well. Mix the batter all up and fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full. We're going to bake those muffins for 20 minutes. We're going to take them out to cool for 5 minutes. That point we will dip the tops in the warm melted butter then into the cinnamon sugar.
