I'm Deb Geigis Berry with Family Fun sailing on the Disney Wonder. We're in Diversion's, a haven for sports enthusiast and pirates like my son Hudson. We're getting so excited because tonight is the big Pirates in the Caribbean deck party and we've got to get cracking on a costume.

For a pirate costume you'll need a red scarf, an old pair of black sweat pants, an eye patch, a gold blouse, a hook and a sword, gold jewelry, a belt, eye makeup, a red bandana, a cool pirate hat, and a pair of boots. First, Hudson pulled on a pair of old black sweat pants. Then, we tucked in a big gold blouse. We tied a belt around his waist and enhanced it with a red sash. We clipped on some gold costume jewelry, added an eye patch, and a pirates hook. Then, it was time for the hat. First off, we put a red bandana, topped by a beautiful pirate's cap. On the eyes we used black eye shadow and smudged the eye area. We used black eye liner to create a mustache and a goatee. Hudson was so excited, he wants to be a pirate for Halloween!
