Hi I'm Lee Woodruff and this is Taylor and we're in the kitchen with Family Fun. Sleep over cake is almost as much fun as a sleepover itself and it's pretty easy to make.
You'll need a rectangular cake, frosting, Twinkies, marshmallows, vanilla wafers, gel icing, mini jaw breakers and a couple flavors of fruit by the foot. Take your chill 13 x 9 inch cake turned upside down and lightly frost with white icing. Next cut the twinkies in half length wise and place the tops cup side down in a row on top of the cake. Now frost the top third of the cake with 1 color of frosting and place flattened marshmallows at the top of each twinkie for pillows. Next use a different color of icing to frost over the twinkies and the remaining section of the bed. Now for the faces, your kids will have a great time decorating their own faces onto the wafers, use gel icing for the hair, mouth, and nose and mini jaw breakers for the eyes. Once the faces are finished place one on each of the marshmallow pillows. For the finishing touches use some fruit by the foot to make a border around the blanket and a colorful bed skirt, add gel icing to decorate the blanket. No matter how you make it your sleep over gang will love making themselves into mini beds with this sleepover cake.
