Need a fun idea for a healthy after school snack? Hi everybody I'm Forbes Riley here in the kitchen with Family Fun. This simple snail snack will do the trick.
You'll need large square shaped tortillas, mayonnaise, lettuce, or baby spinach, sliced deli meats, sliced cheese, girkan pickles and chives stocks. If necessary trim the rounded edges of the tortilla to make it square then spread on a thin layer of the mayo, layer on the lettuce or baby spinach then the meat and cheese and roll it up tightly. With the seam on the bottom, slice the tortilla into two inch wide pin wheels. For the snails head, cut a pickle at an angle and slip each pickle onto the edge of the pin wheel securing them together with a toothpick if necessary. Then poke two small holes in the end and stick pieces of chives with knots in for each antenna. This recipe will make four to six pin wheel sandwiches. This snail may move at a slow pace but it would disappear as quick as a wink.
