Surprise your kids on the first day of school with this too cool to trade lunch idea. I'm Penelope Hsu in the kitchen with Family Fun. These two tone sandwiches are a cinch to make and are sure to be the talk of the class.
You'll need one slice of wheat bread, one slice of white bread, a star shape cookie cutter about an inch an half wide, and your favorites sandwich filings. First set the 2 slices of bread on a cutting board. Using the cooking cutter cut 2 stars out of a slice of the white bread and 2 stars out of a slice of the whole wheat bread then swap the cut outs so the wheat bread has the white star and the white bread has the wheat star. Finally assemble your sandwich as you normally would. You're kids will love these star studded sandwiches.
