Do you and your kids need a break from all of those Halloween candies and sweets? I'm Lee Woodruff in the kitchen with Family Fun and here is a be-witchingly healthy treat that your kids will love.
You'll need fresh green pears, raisins, chocolate chips, 1 red apple, chocolate frosting, a carrot and a grater, Oreo ice cream cones, and large soft chocolate cookies. First cut the pear in half lengthwise and remove the core. Place 1 pear half on a plate like this. Slice a piece off the top of the pear cutting away from the forehead at an angle. Shape that piece into a nose, carve a notch into the witches face to hold it and set it in place. Attach the eyes and wart by carving small circles in the face to hold them. Then cut a grin from the red apple carve out an area on the face to hold the grin and put it in place. To make the hat cut off a portion of the cookie and spread frosting on one side. Place the cone on the frosting side of the cookie and frost the top of the pea, now let the frosting harden a bit and place the hat on the head. Grate lengths of carrot hair and tuck them into the frosting underneath the hat. This wickedly good treat is guaranteed to fly off the table.
