Fashioned from washcloths and ribbon, our friendly plaything can be made in a flash (no worries about bringing bath toys to Grandma's!) and taken apart just as easily to throw in the wash.

Materials

• 3 small washcloths
• 1 (6-inch) ribbon

• Rubber band

Instructions

1. Ball up one washcloth and wrap a second washcloth around it.

2. Fold the third washcloth into a triangle, drape it over the back of the doll's head for a cape, and secure it at the neck with a rubber band. Pull the ends of the second washcloth tight to smooth the face.

3. Tie the ribbon securely around the neck, trim the ends, then cut off the rubber band.
