"Here's the mail, it never fails. It makes me want to wag my tail. When it comes Blue I want to wail--Mail!" Mail time is an exceptionally exciting time at Steve and Blue's house. Create customized invitations and send your guests a Mailbox with the party news.

In the party room, hang blue streamers and both dark and light blue balloons from the party room ceiling to create "virtual Blue's Clues" decor. Designate a Thinking Chair and cover it with a red cloth. Cover the table with a green paper tablecloth, purple napkins, yellow paper plates and blue plastic cutlery. Draw paw prints on scraps of paper for your guests' personalized place settings.

For party favors, give each guest a blue party bag filled with a Handy Dandy notebook (a small spiral paper pad will do), a jumbo size green crayon, balloons they can blow up and a green or blue party hat.

MAILBOX INVITATIONS

MATERIALS
Purple, white and red card stock
Scissors
Glue Stick
Paper fastener
Craft glue
Googly eyes

DIRECTIONS
1. For each invitation, cut two rectangles, the same size, out of both the white and purple card stocks. Glue the perimeter of the purple card stock onto the white.

2. After glue has dried, cut out a door for the mailbox opening. Inside the door, write the party details.

3. Cut out a mailbox flag from the red card stock and fasten to the top with a paper fastener.

4. With a red marker, draw a smile on the mailbox door and glue on two googly eyes.

5. When eyes are dried, get creative with details and write "Skidoo to my party" on the mailbox.
