Sun Baby Face
Even infants are captivated by watching the giggling baby in the sun that beams down on Teletubbyland. For this activity, guests bring their own photos--the younger the better, to make a sun of their own.
MATERIALS
Photographs, brought from homeOrange and yellow poster board
Scissors
Glue stick
Large craft sticks
Yellow, red and orange crayons or markers (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1. Help your guests cut out the face of their photograph.
2. For each guest, draw and cut out a circle from the orange posterboard--about 5 to 6 inches in diameter. Cut a smaller circle out of the yellow posterboard to fit in the sun's center, then glue in the center of the orange sun.
3. With scissors, create sunrays around the perimeter of the orange posterboard.
4. Glue the cut out photographs to the center of the suns.
5. Glue a craft stick to the bottom of the sun--let your Teletubbies hide behind their baby faces!
TIPS: If the size of the photographs vary, adjust the size of the sun appropriately. For a more customized version, have your guests color their suns with bursts of red, orange and yellow crayons or markers before gluing on their baby face.
