Madeline For A Day

Bring some Parisian flair to your child's next birthday celebration

Lord Koo Koo Face Cooking School

As Madeline's schoolmates used to say, "We love our bread, we love our butter, but most of all we love each other!" Bread and butter was about all girls could master in the kitchen--mud pies were more like it! After they served Lord Koo Koo Face a blue cheese, salt and chocolate sandwich, he sent them to cooking school.
As a Madeline party activity, have your guests attend "Cordon Rouge."

DIRECTIONS

1. Set out homemade or store bought crepes and a selection of savory (i.e., chicken and vegetables) and sweet (i.e., strawberries and cream cheese) assorted fillings.

2. Add dishes of sauces and toppings, letting your guests experiment with their own combinations.

3. After your guests have eaten their creations, they can each go home with a culinary diploma tied with a red "Cordon Rouge" ribbon.
