When the Spanish Ambassador moved in next door, Madeline took one look at their new neighbor's son and announced that he was a "bad hat." His name--Pepito. Have your guests create their own hats and have a fashion show for the "best bad hat."

MATERIALS

A favorite small doll
Air drying modeling clay
Plastic wrap

DIRECTIONS

1. Set out assorted colors of an air drying modeling material like Crayola's Model Magic--colors may be blended by kneading them together to create new shades.

2. Protect doll hair by covering each doll's head with some plastic wrap.

3. Have your guests design "Pepito hats" by modeling the material to fit the heads of their dolls.

4. When the hats are finished, they can be slipped off of the plastic wrap and allowed to air-dry in 24 hours.
