Balloons of Fortune Game
What will the New Year hold? Only the balloons know for sure.

- Two chairs
- Masking tape
- Fortunes
- Balloons
- Instructions

Before you begin, write clever wishes for the new year on small pieces of paper, such as, "You will get an A in math this year" or, "A secret admirer will be revealed to you on Valentine's Day." Slip a fortune into a balloon, inflate the balloon completely, and tie. Repeat until you have a balloon for each fortune-seeker.

Place two chairs at one end of an open room and mark off a starting line made with masking tape at the other end.

To play, divide the group into two teams. The first member of each team should grab a balloon, run to the chair at the opposite end, sit on the balloon until it pops, yell out the fortune, then run back to tag the next person in line. The team that finishes first wins.
