Clothespin Jug Game
This party game, a variation on Pin the Tail on the Donkey, is more challenging that it sounds.

- Gallon milk jug
- Clothespins
- Blindfold
- Instructions

Fill the jug with a layer of rocks to keep it from tipping. For young children, you might want to cut off the top of the jug so it's easier to insert the clothespins.

Players should line up singlefile and take turns dropping the clothespins into the jug while blindfolded. As the children line up to try their skill, spin them around several times, then aim them in the right direction (make sure no one wanders off into a flower bed or trafficked area).

- Variations:
Play in teams of two. One child trys to direct another to the jug. This can be hilarious as one child says, "This way," and the child trying to find the jug asks,"Which way?" The children take turns acting as guides and as clothespin droppers.
